Job Description
Financial analysts (sometimes called security analysts or investment analysts) assess the economic performance of companies and industries for firms and institutions with money to invest. They gather financial information, analyze it, and make recommendations.

Working Conditions
- Usually indoors, in safe and comfortable offices or their own homes
- May work long hours and experience stress to meet deadlines
- Much of the day may consist of phone calls, meetings, traveling, and research
