Judges apply the law and oversee the legal process in courts according to local, state and federal statues. They preside over cases concerning every aspect of society. They ensure that rules and procedures are followed.
Necessary Education
Bachelors Degree, three years in law school, completion of bar examination

- Work is performed in offices, law libraries and courtrooms
- Usually work a 40-hour week, but a 50-hour week is common for a third of all judges
