Job: Camp Counselor
Camp counselors lead and instruct children and teenagers in various forms of recreation, such as swimming and hiking. They also provide campers with specialized instruction in activities such as tennis and computers. In resident camps, counselors additionally provide guidance, supervise daily living, and oversee general socialization.
Necessary Education
Varies dependent on length (summer job) and type of work. Specialized training, certification, and/or Bachelor’s Degree is usually necessary for full-time work

Working Conditions
- Most of their time is spent outdoors and may work in a variety of weather conditions
- May risk suffering injuries during physical activities
