Job: Elementary School Teacher
Elementary School Teachers act as facilitators, using interactive type discussions and hands-on learning to help students learn and apply concepts. Teachers provide the tools and environment for students to develop the skills of interacting and solving problems. Most elementary teachers instruct one grade level in several subjects. They design classroom presentations to meet student needs and abilities.
Necessary Education

Often a special license or certification by the state

Working Conditions
- Work a 40-hour work week and a ten-month school year
- Work in classrooms with occasional field trips or extra curricular activities
- Work can be frustrating when dealing with unmotivated students

- Work may deal with large class size and a heavy workload
