Job: Human Resources Assistant
Job Description
Human resources assistants maintain employee records. They may also perform a variety of other clerical duties and departmental duties, depending on the needs of the organization.
Necessary Education
High School Diploma; additional education may be necessary for some employers
Helpful High School Courses
English, Mathematics, Business courses, Computer Applications

- Usually work in areas that are clean, well lit, and relatively quiet
- Typically work a standard 40-hour week

- Some may advance by transfer to a position with more responsibilities or by promotion to a supervisory position
