Job Description
Database Administrators plan, develop, implement and test ways to store, and retrieve facts and figures for their business or organization. They may also develop security measures for the data system.
Necessary Education
Associate and/or Bachelors Degree
Helpful High School Courses
Sciences, Mathematics, English, Computer Applications, Programming
Working Conditions
- Works in offices or laboratories
- Usually works a 40-hour week
- Work may cause eye strain, back, wrist and hand problems
