Job: Hardware Engineer
Job Description
Computer Hardware Engineers do research, design, develops and test computer hardware and supervises its manufacture and installation. (Hardware refers to computer chips, circuit boards, systems and related equipment).
Necessary Education
- Bachelors Degree and specific certifications
- Helpful High School Courses
- Computer Applications, English, Advanced Mathematics, Science
Working Conditions
- Most work in computer and office equipment manufacturing
- Most work 40+ hours per week
- Work often requires overtime to meet deadlines
- Work may require lifting, bending and stopping
