Job: Network Engineer (aka Computer Engineer)
Job Description
Network Engineers work with the hardware and software aspects of systems design and development. They design hardware, software and networks to solve technical problems.

Advanced Mathematics, Computer Courses, Science
Working Conditions
- Normally work in offices or laboratories
- Usually work a 40-hour week, but evenings and weekends may be necessary in emergency situations
- Telecommuting is common
- Working long hours at a terminal may cause eye strain, back discomfort, and hand and wrist problems

- Professional certification and/or specialization in areas or expertise such as the security of systems leads to advancement
