Welcome To Engineering:
Are you good with your hands? Are you mechanically inclined? Do friends call you practical? Do you like to figure out how things work? Would you like to read technical/ schematic material? Can you imagine something before it's designed? Can you communicate your thoughts clearly? Can you negotiate with clients to create a useful product? These characteristics are often important in engineering careers.

People in engineering careers know how things work.
They make technology work and keep it working once the machines, equipment and structures of modern life are designed. Depending on the job, their daily tasks might include designing a new highway, supervising construction of a building, testing a new spacesuit fabric or monitoring water quality.
